About the Indian Coral Snake

Calliophis melanurus, commonly known as the slender coral snake, is a species of elapid snake endemic to the Indian subcontinent. Two subspecies are recognized, including the nominotypical subspecies. It is found in India, Bangladesh, and Sri Lanka.
