The streaked rosefinch (Carpodacus rubicilloides) is a true finch species (family Fringillidae). It is found on the Himalayan Plateau. Its natural habitat is boreal shrubland. Two subspecies are recognised: C. r. rubicilloides - eastern Tibet to central and southern China
