What visitors saw
Yes seen Camberwell Beauty and Sand Lizard although I have never seen a Sand Lizard outside the UK and then only a couple and two UK Camberwell Beauties and only a small number abroad There's no real chance of any new birds but always keen to see things that I rarely see such as Nutcracker.
I’d recommend bringing bear spray and a bell just in case, we heard them on three separate occasions, so they’re definitely around.
We brought two sprays with us in case we encountered a bear on the road.
We leave another path and take the final section up to the pass, we are already at 1,800 and we see a marmot, several Alpine Accentor and a Peregrine Falcon.
